Join an Outpost
Imagine being part of a small group that people can't wait to gather for; it's fun, it's adventurous, it's energizing. One where you are loved, affirmed, and get to contribute, one that invites the Holy Spirit to move and reveal the heart of God, one that sees people encounter Jesus and grows with new Christians. That's our plan for Outposts at His Presence Church, we invite you to read through and choose a couple of groups that you feel you might connect well with, this will be prayerfully considered and then you will be assigned a group to connect with.

Kingsport
Describe leaders
Brian, a semi-retired professional working for the City of Kingsport, has a passion for helping others navigate the world of finance. Nicole, a dedicated home-school mom, shares her entrepreneurial spirit into a variety of ventures. Together, they are proud parents of four children and grandparents to three, enjoying life while balancing family, work, and their shared love for serving and mentoring others.
Meeting Times
Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Biweekly (1st and 3rd)
Group Promo
We are so excited to be a part of this new outpost. It will be all about great conversation, delicious food, and building a community centered on worship and growing in the Word. Middle and high school students are also welcome, making it a great opportunity for the entire family to be involved in worship and fellowship.

Isaac works as a network administrator (computer geek) for Kingsport. He enjoys reading Sci-Fi, going bowling and completing ever growing honey do list. Coby teaches Piano and has a side business of home decor/room styling. She enjoys antiquing, crafting and cooking. They have three nearly grown kids ... too quickly approaching the empty nest.
Meeting Times
We are shooting for twice a month on Monday's from 6:30 to 8:00 (1st & 3rd). If a different night works better, we are flexible.
Group Promo
We look forward to sharing your thoughts and insight deeper into the Word. We are excited to hear how the Lord is working in your life on a regular basis. We'll get to know each other better over a bit of dessert and fellowship.

John & Shawna work in medicine. Both love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking and fishing. They also enjoy traveling with their two children, Bella (18) and Alex (10). They are always up for an adventure!

Describe leaders
Chuck and Janet recently retired early after 38 years in Albuquerque, and moved to Tennessee. We have just celebrated 40 years of marital bliss. Chuck enjoys model airplanes, both R/C Racing and indoor duration, as well as lake activities, hunting, and smoking meat. Janet enjoys gardening, swimming, and reading. We both enjoy spending time with our son, his wife, and our granddaughters, who also moved to Tennessee. We have another three children who live around the country. We have led small groups for a number of years in Albuquerque, where we served under our Pastor for 36 years.
Meeting Times
We are targeting Tuesday Evening, 7-9pm, but can adjust based on group needs
Group Promo
Building Relationships, Building the Church. Just as Jesus emphasized relationship over Law, we believe that strong relationships build the Church. In our group we will lead facilitated discussions on biblical topics, with the "meat" coming from the members. We view each member as a potential leader, and will encourage you to step out. We enjoy a multi-generational group, and will welcome members of all ages. We enjoy fellowship and food. We desire to create an inviting group that you would want to bring friends. In warmer seasons we can have additional meetings involving lake activities.
